The eco-sustainable philosophy of our campsite

We have a naturalistic
treasure to protect

We feel duty bound to preserve the extraordinary but very delicate environment that surrounds the campsite, with Lake Molveno awarded several times with the "5 sails" by Legambiente and Touring Club and the Dolomites declared a World Heritage Site UNESCO. Furthermore, the woods of the natural park are the habitat of several rare species of animals and plants, such as the lynx or the Brenta gentian.

We therefore believe it is possible and necessary to reconcile the modern needs of tourism with environmental protection, so that one day our children will also find these beauties intact. Here are some eco-sustainable measures that we implement at Camping Molveno and to which you too can contribute.

  • In various points you will find ecological islands where you can deposit correctly separated waste.
  • Black or grey water from campers and caravans must be disposed of in the designated waste disposal areas.
  • The bungalows are built according to the energy-saving CasaClima concept.
  • We don't ration water and electricity, but this does not mean they should be wasted: use them with the environment in mind.
  •  Leave your car parked and travel by public transport, which you can use for free with the Dolomiti Paganella Guest Card.

Since 2005, Camping Molveno has boasted the "Qualità Parco" brand, a project started by the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park in 2001, as the first in Europe to reward companies meeting the requirements of environmental protection and connection with the territory. Embracing this philosophy, we have continued to improve over the years, and in 2015 obtaining the coveted recognition of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in Protected Areas - Phase II, for our commitment in this field.
